Lisa Phillips is the church office manager.  

  I grew up in Orange County, California and went to college at Vanguard University of Southern California where I met my husband, Ben.  I graduated in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in liberal arts.  Ben and I got married in July of 2000.  I then became a public school teacher there.  In 2002 we had our first of three daughters, Tayler, then came Emma in 2005, and Kate in 2008.  We moved to Ohio in 2006 where I taught preschool for two years before coming to Mount Vernon First.

This job is a different direction then when I started but I love where God has taken me, He is always so good!
