Making a Difference In Our Community

At FirstNaz, we are not spiritual consumers, but we are spiritual contributors. The Church does not exist for us. We are the Church and we exist for the world. If we don’t live with integrity, nothing else matters. At the Foster Ministry Center we strive to help a hurting and broken community in many different ways.

Making a Difference Together

Hot Meals

Hot Meals

The Foster Ministry Center is part of a Hot Meal Program in the Mount Vernon Community and is open to anyone who has such need. It is also open to anyone in need of a time of fellowship and companionship. This meal is hosted by FirstNaz every Wednesday night from 5:00-6:00 PM. Join us inside for a hot meal or take it to go if needed.

In addition to the Hot Meal program, the Foster Ministry Center also offers a Food Pantry.

FirstNaz welcomes you to come on the fourth Saturday of each month from 9:00–11:00 AM or Wednesdays from 4:00-6:00 PM to receive food for your family. We just ask you bring identification and proof of address.

Weekend Food Bags

Weekend Food Bags

We are extremely fortunate to work with East Knox and Danville Local School Districts in an effort to provide kids with essential needs every weekend. We are always looking for help with preparing and delivering these essential packs. If you would like to help with this ministry let us know below!
