What We Offer

Learn more about our ministries for kids.

Nursery & Toddlers

Our Nursery & Toddler program is for children Birth through 3 years. Our desire to create an atmosphere of love and laughter for your child so they may experience the love of Christ. We also want to lend a hand to parents as they are trying to worship as well!

Preschool

Our Preschool program was designed with your 4-5 year old in mind. We want to teach your child how to have a loving relationship with others and God. We provide an atmosphere to equip your child in building these relationships while you engage in meaningful relationships as well.

Elementary

Children in Kindergarten through 6th Grade will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities that bring the lesson to life. They will also sing along with energetic and interactive worship, and learn lessons from the Bible presented in a relevant way.

Frequently Asked Questions

Still have questions? No worries! We tried to think of some things you may want to know as a parent!

  • What are service times?

Sundays: 9 AM + 10:45 AM (Doors open 15 minutes prior to each service)

    Wednesdays: 6:45 PM

  • How do I check my child in?

Great question! We use Planning Center to check your child in a secure manner. Following checking in, you and your child will receive a sticker that you will show the volunteer at the check-in desk following the service you attend. Your child will not be released to anyone who doesn’t have a corresponding sticker.

You are able to self-checkin when you walk in the door, or if you’re a first-time guest, you’ll be helped by one of our trained, friendly volunteers.

We want to ensure that your child is safe when they are at FirstNaz Kids, so we appreciate your cooperation in advance.

  • How do I know my child is safe?

Your child’s safety is our number one priority. All of our volunteers are extensively trained with MinistrySafe and are background checked. Rooms will be staffed with the proper ratio of staff to children. Your child will not be left alone. Nobody will be allowed to enter the classrooms or chapel if they are not background checked.

In addition, we have a trained member of our safety team in the kids hall who is trained to handle all emergencies.

  • What if my child has allergies?

We’ve got you covered. We are peanut free and offer a variety of gluten-free and non-dairy options if a snack is provided. We will also check with you when your child is checked into FirstNaz Kids.

  • What class will my child participate in?

Your child’s class will be determined by age. The ages are listed below:

    - Infant/Nursery: Birth - 18 Months

    - Toddler: 18 Months (steady walker) - 3 Years

    - Preschool: 4 years old (potty trained) - 5 years old

    - Kindergarten - 6th Grade

  • Are both services the same?

No. Our 9:00 hour is set aside for small groups. This is a time where your child can dive even deeper into the week’s content with a small group leader and age-specific group. The 10:45 hour is a worship experience designed for kindergarten through 6th grade. They will engaged in an interactive Bible lesson and hands-on activities.

  • Should I bring supplies for my child?

Your child is welcome as they are. All of our classrooms have toys and activities that are age-appropriate. We just ask if you have an infant or toddler that you bring a diaper bag and supplies they would need.

  • I’ve heard about Bible Quizzing, so what is it?

We are part of the North Central Ohio District quizzing program. For more information on this click here!
